'Allo 'Allo - Edinburgh People's Theatre

My wife is acting in this, wearing seamed stocking and suspenders, a mini skirt, and a waitress uniform.

But there are other reasons to go and see it too e.g. it's funny

  1. 'Allo 'Allo - it's been so long since I saw that series... but on a wildly unrelated note, this week's The Verb (Radio 3, 9.45pm, Friday 30th), features Fiona Sampson talking about Tomas Tranströmer as part of her guide to Scandinavian writing.

  2. Ben - thanks. I'll certainly tune in for that. I've walked unwittingly into serious controversy with my review of Robertson's versions of Transtromer's poems and will be interested to see what happens next.

  3. I should say that although the letter by Robin Fulton is about a review by Alan Brownjohn, he is also now aware of my review.
