I like this one Rob. What a mis-spent youth you must have led - I'm envious.
It makes me think of a Louis Theroux TV programme, you capture the same sense of kitch/seediness/menace.I really like the threadbare carpet line.I'm not sure the title is as strong as the poem though. The Wasted Oasis would seem to do it more justice!
