New Sphinx

Sphinx Issue 6 is out in print. On the website there are also reviews of chapbooks not included in the paper version. I have two reviews there:

first, of The Self in a Photograph by Lisa Dart. Despite my humming and hawing, I thought this was good in places and well worth a read;

and second, of Simple Words by Stephen Warrillow. Probably a case of publishing poetry a few years too soon.

Happenstance site seems to be down. I just spent a day talking to Sarah, trying to work out why I couldn't buy some chapbooks from them, and trying to get someone to approve my membership on the word doctors site.

I'm hoping my copy of Sphinx hasn't been eaten up in the mail.

The HappenStance site is up again. I don't know why you're having problems buying some of the chapbooks. Maybe write to Helena Nelson to explain the problem?

I made a mistake in saying that Sphinx is out on paper, by the way. It's imminent. But only the website section is out so far.

Perhaps the site was down while they were fixing whatever was wrong with the chapbook ordering facility? Perhaps have another go. If you still can't buy the books, send me an email (address at my profile) and I'll pass it on to Helena.

Thanks, Rob, but Sarah's managed to fix the zencart problem, and all seems to be fine.
