Apocalypse in Poetry

My poem, Preparations for the Final Hours, is now up at qarrtsiluni, part of the ‘Journaling the Apocalypse’ issue – plenty worth reading in there.

You can read the poem and also hear me read it if you’re so inclined.

It's a poem that I will reread many times, it gives a sense of colourful restlessness and anguish with clashing undefined but strong feelings. It is made of positively unpleasant images. It very well corresponds to its title.
I feel it as very far from what I sense I can write and maybe most of all for this reason I have enjoyed it.
Happy New Year.
Best wishes, Davide
