The first in Edinburgh this winter fell today. More is to come. Tonight the forecast is for Arctic winds up to 90 miles an hour and heavy snow - blizzard conditions. Also a notional temperature of -9 degrees centigrade, not taking account of windchill. Brrrrr...The next day:
However, the forecasters got it wrong again. It's cold, but no Arctic winds or blizzards. No complaints...
