Hope it went well Rob, I'm sorry I missed it.

Too many things happening on the home front for me at the moment. My MIL is ill etc etc..

It's still to happen, apprentice. This Sunday coming, the 27th.

Hope things settle down for you, and best wishes for your MIL.

Have a good time, Rob! It's a touch too far from Basel to drop in. :-)

Thanks for the good wishes. I've read one of Kate Clanchy's collections, Slattern, and enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to hearing her read.

Kate Clanchy had bronchitis and had to cancel!

But Alastair Findlay was there instead, and was very good. I'll write something more tomorrow morning. My spot seemed to go well.
