The Smiths - Hand in Glove (Barrowlands, Glasgow, 1985)
While I'm in a musically nostalgic mood, check this out. I'm in that audience somewhere. Can you see me?

I saw them in Dundee the night before or after Rob - very disappointed. The long, earnest Smiths songs of this era (Barbarism, Some Girls..., Joke, M is M, HSisN) are really not the reasons I remember them. They seemed bored and fractious.
The Barrowland gig was terrific. They were on great form, but maybe that's hard to sustain night after night.
My favourite Smiths albums, in order (although I like all of them, other than Rank, the obligatory, boring live album. If 'Meat is Murder' had just been the first three tracks and Nowhere Fast, it would have one of the best EPs ever made):
The Smiths Hatful of Hollow The Queen is Dead The World Won't Listen Strangeways Here we Come Meat is Murder Rank

Oh, I should add "Well, I Wonder" to the 'Meat is Murder' list in my previous comment.
