Shore Poets Tonight

More live poetry again tonight, this time at the Shore Poets. The line up is impressive:

Gillian Allnutt (“her work is at once hard and delicate, like wrought iron” – Denise Levertov)
Christine de Luca (queen of literary Shetland)
James W Wood (yet another HappenStance poet, and a good one)

from 7.45pm at the Mai Thai Bar, down from the Scottish Poetry Library in Crichton’s Close, Edinburgh.

The layout of your post made me think that Denise was reading tonight ...

I miss her laugh.

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out, Andrew.

Denise L. is one of my faves.

She was my second poetry mentor. I took two workshops from her at Stanford in 1986 and 1987.
