Holiday Hymn

According to that iTunes meme I posted a short whole ago, the song that will be played at my funeral is Orange Juice’s version of Holiday Hymn, originally by Vic Goddard & the Subway Sect:

“It’s such fun to hear the children singing.
The church is full, the bells are ringing.
Open your hearts and sing a holiday hymn…”

I don’t have any problem with that – if only! The song is one of my faves, but I expect my family might have other ideas.

My family turned up their collective eyebrows at Ode to Joy from Beethoven's Ninth for my funeral music, so I settled on the first Sea Interlude from Peter Grimes, and that seems OK.

I haven't got an Ipod (difficult with 2 hearing aids) so I can't self-tag with the meme thingy.
